Set at the centre beach front of our lands, our open kitchen restaurant is a focal meeting point to share meals and be with others. You'll enjoy great views across the beach and bay witnessing colourful sunsets right from your table.
Full board and menu-free
Our all inclusive full board rates aim to make you feel at home, not unlike visiting a Rakhine village house. Eating in such a private place, you would be astonished each time what choices in various bowls are set up in front of you. With no restaurants around our place we know what it means to serve you hearty, healthy and locally sourced food, making your stay with us a treat.
We cook fresh local fish and seafood based. We do not offer meat dishes from animals that lived unhappy lives in near or far away places. Consequently we cater for vegetarians with zest and extra care.
Sumptuous breakfast
We serve a combination of the best of western veg. breakfast culture with options from the village.
Breakfast consists of fresh homemade bread from our clay oven, eggs your choice, butter, jam, sometimes humus and cheese. Fresh daily fruit juice, coffee, chai and hot chocolate are part of it. Last but not least we serve muesli with our fabulous homemade granola.
Light Lunch
We keep a tradition of cooking light vegetarian lunches, with refreshing soups, a good choice of veggies, salads and light local curries with tofu or pulses. We regularly offer south Indian vegetarian lunches, too. And sometimes it is spaghettis or Asian style noodles as well.
Set Dinner
Dinner is a more sumptuous blend of international Asia-inspired inventive cuisine alternating with authentic native dishes. In the end we will surprise you with a scoop of homemade ice cream or a piece of cheesecake from the clay oven. We regularly include fish and seafood barbeque dinners, too.
Eating with Kids
We are flexible and the kids staying with us have taught us how to attend to their tastes and needs - and that is what we do. Parents are encouraged to bring along some of the specific foods their kids can just not be without. Our pizza sessions where we offer kids to make and bake their own best choice in the clay oven are always a success.
Drinking water, coffee and tea
We produce our own water from a safe and tested well, using Life Straw filter technology. Each unit is provided with refillable glass water bottles that you can refill anytime at our water station. We do not sell plastic bottled drinking water. Drinking water, teas and fresh coffee are included in our rates.
Your drinks - your only extras!
Soft drinks, fresh juices after breakfast and all alcoholic beverages will be counted as your extras. We sell them at reasonable prices. These extras can be paid for in cash at the end of your stay.
Alcoholic drinks
We feature Myanmar beer, a range of white and red wines and an array of spirits to mix long drinks and cocktails. Sparkling wines are available, too.
Corkage fees
Should you chose to bring your own preferred beverages along and ask us to cool, store and serve them to you (and then recycle the bottles) we ask a corkage fee of 1USD per beer/soft drink - 5USD per bottle of wine or spirits. Drinks for kids are the exception.
